Measure it right
Measure the top of your cake, not the height
Edible images go on the flat top surface, so the number that matters is the diameter (round) or width (square) across the top — not how tall the cake is.
- Lay a ruler or tape across the centre of the top, edge to edge
- For tiered cakes, measure the tier you're decorating
- We recommend the image about ½" smaller so it sits just inside the rim — no overhang, no trimming
- Prefer full coverage to the edge? Just tell us and we'll size it flush
- Unsure between two sizes? Round down — a clean border always looks intentional
